Not sure what to say?

I know it is February 17, 2016 but I just learned of Bill's passing today. My wife and I are so sorry that Bill has passed.
July, 1970 I spent 4 weeks (as a Med Student at CWRU with Bill when he was an intern. I learned more about being good, kind, compassionate physician from him. From the start he was just a special person. He and I shared the sort of sense of humor. He was really smart and all the patients really liked him... The nurses liked him because he was so easy to work...

I worked with Bill at St.Vincent's Hospital then at Lutheran Medical Center before he retired. He was a gentle man ,always soft spoken calm cool and collected each time I saw him.His penmanship was impeccable. I will miss him always.

Truly one of a kind! A compassionate and caring physician, greatly saddened to learn of his demise. My condolences to those left to mourn his passing. It was a pleasure knowing you my friend.May you find the rest you so richly deserve.

Dear Family, I am truly sorry to know that Bill is gone! I have an opportunity to be sure that Bill's legacy is recorded for his college class mates at Yale. I would love to add any special information you would like to see included. The official deadline for submitting information for the book being assembled for our 50th reunion just passed, but I have gotten a short extension to add a remembrance of Bill. I have a brief note put together from my memory and his obituary. The recent photo...

Bill and friends at Yale 1963

Bill was my best friend in college. We roomed together for our junior and senior years at Yale. We had many good times together! While we both worked hard and supported each other's efforts to get into medical school, there was time for plenty of fun. Bill's gorgeous calligraphic handwriting was legendary. He was smart, steady, humorous, and reliable. We have kept in touch at Christmas all these years. I made some unsuccessful attempts to catch up with him in person when I have been in New...

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Bill at St. Vincent's since 1989. He would come by the office and tell me daily colorful jokes. Even though he gave the impression of being reserved, he was a different Bill with me, lol. When I left the department after 10 years we would still see each other in passing in the hallways or any functions I would make. I last saw him at his retirement party and it was as if we didn't miss a beat. First, thing he said, I have a joke for you. I had...

I worked with Bill at St. Vincent's Hospital in NYC, and was so blessed to enjoy his friendship, his delightful wit and great humor. What a rich and full life he did live. He will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family and friends.
