Not sure what to say?

During my time in Germany Bill & I were best friends. We did everything together guard duty,Kp, drinking at the club, movies, whatever. I've tried for years to contact Bill but never succeeded till now. My wife and I were running thru the various related names and found his obituary Sunday.
Very sorry that it took us so long. Very sorry for the loss of your best friend as well.
With our deepest sympathy

my dads wonderful smile

Lighting a candle this morning that will go out on this site at 12am tonight...but will be forever glowing in our hearts in remembrance of a wonderful Father, Grandfather and Friend, Bill Vidrine. We miss you!

Kimberly and Bill Cali Trip 1986ish BFF

Bill is my best friend Kimberly's Father, so I was blessed to know him for the last 22 years. When we were silly teenage girls, we would have driven anyone else NUTS. But not Bill. He always joked around with us, laughed our antics off, played along with our games, took us for pizza, and even had the bravery to take two 15 year-olds to Disneyland! When I was 17 he allowed me to move into his home and live upstairs with Kim, giving us the Master area. I ate all his cookies, drank all his milk,...

Bill and Grandson Trevor

My Father and my Son’s Grandfather, our hero…My Dad raised me since I was teenager. He has been by my side everyday, and always held me up. He was the kindest most gentle man, who loved me and my son Trevor. He was truly our best friend! He came over everyday just to be with us and always with a smile that I miss dearly. He took my Son everywhere…skating, movies...they were truly best buddies! If I was sick or down he would come over, and only he knew the words to say to make me feel better....

Just learned about Bills passing and would like the family to know that he was a friend and fine fellow officer. Bill grew up about a block from my house and we never met untill we worked Sunnyslope together for many years. Great sense of humor, good cop and a pleasure to be around with that patented laugh and smile. God Speed Billy Boy,you are missed.

I was a Phx Police Reserve officer (Sgt) and was a year behind Bill at West High. I worked many hours on patrol with Bill, he was a good, solid officer and I learned a lot from him. Fun to work with and serious when need be. Sorry to read of his passing in the Dept's 10-7 Newsletter. I rode to the station with him in him '71 Boss Mustang many times....when the clutch was functional and it was Butterscotch !! Great car ! Bill Godfrey (Peoria, AZ)

I worked with Bill on the PD many years ago. He was a stand up guy, a good friend and a good cop. God speed Billy, see ya on the other side.
