Coach Bill Vincent shaped my life with a chance meeting at Aviation High School in 1959. He invited me, a 95 lb. freshman, to join the wrestling team. He actually dialed my mother on a big black rotary dial phone by his desk. With her permission, I joined the team that night. Since that day, I have been involved with wrestling for over 60 years. I learned so much from Coach Vincent, I was so fortunate to have had him as a coach! My condolences to his family!
