A Funeral Mass was held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Kingston, Massachusetts. Interment was at St. Joseph Cemetery, Kingston. Funeral entrusted to the care and direction of David G. Walsh Malverne Funeral Home, Malverne, Long Island.

I attended the evening engineering courses at The Cooper Union from 1961 until graduation in 1969. Professor Vopat was my teacher in heat transfer, and in a course of Power Plant Engineering. A great teacher, my professional engineering life and achievements were based on the knowledge I got from him.
