William D. Walker

We are very sorry for your loss. Bill and Lu were wonderful friends and we have many fond memories of tennis with them every Sunday and our travels together. Bill was in Bob's "Geezers" men's book club too. He was a nice guy and had a great sense of humor and will be deeply missed.

William Walker had an impact on me that he never knew about, mostly because it came through his son Scott. Scott was a neighbor and friend of mine when I was in high school. I often played tennis with Scott, house-sat for him when he was out of town, and he helped me get one of my first summer jobs at Spectra Physics in the late 1980s. Highly respected individual who could inspire others with vision and articulation of the vision. Really enjoyed the few times our paths crossed. Would have really enjoyed collaborating on new ventures with him.
