Not sure what to say?

I never thought history could be fun till I took Mr. Walsh's class. He was funny, caring and had all the qualities a model teacher should have. I remember him often and he made a difference in my life.

Thanks Mr. Walsh...you made the world a better place.

Ana Sprague (Streitmatter) Class of 77 Alvernia

The world is a better place because Doc lived. He was a passionate teacher and a gentle man- a winning combination for his students. I am grateful and honored that I was able to study under him. My deepest condolences and sympathy to his family and fellow colleagues/friends. The loss for Vis is a gain in Heaven.

Doc Walsh was an amazing teacher and mentor. I will never forget him.

Dear Family of Dr. Walsh,

Our daughter Karley was blessed to have Doc last year for AP European History. She would always come home with a story about Doc that made her laugh with tears . We enjoyed talking with Doc at conferences. He has left behind many special memories that Karley will cherish forever.
God Bless

Bill and I were best friends in the 1950s. We walked around and talked endlessly, wondering what the world held for us. I wish very much we had been in closer contact in the years since then. He was a friend, the first best frind I ever had. I miss him already.

Dulcenee and family,

I had known you at Breck and then met your husband when he was my daughter Elissa's history teacher. I remember going to the first conference and being moved by what a kind and loving person he was, clearly looking for and finding that light within each person he encountered. My prayers are with you.

Dear Walsh Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. walsh. He was a great teacher and a wonderful person. He always encouraged his students to be the best they could be and for that we will always be greatful.

Dear Walsh Family,
I was so saddened to hear abour Mr Walsh. He was one of my favorite teachers. I looked forward to his gee whiz facts and the camel story. I always think of him on the first snowy day.
Nancy Johnson Alveria class of 1980

Mr. Walsh will forever be in my mind as the most genuine and giving of my teachers to date. He inspired me to learn and appreciate all that was there to experiece. He touched me like no other. He will be missed. I am saddened that I learned of his passing after his memorial.
