Rae, I recall the day William was born as though it was yesterday. Sister Marylou was visiting my family on San Juan Island while Izzie was expecting William's birth. To entertain ourselves those days on our family ranch, my family allowed me to drive the jeep Paul Waterman had found for us in the fields. On this particular day, Marylou and maybe my brother had driven to the bottom of the field and made an overnight camp in the woods. I don't recall just when we learned of William's birth...
