Not sure what to say?

A tremendously kind soul is still missed. I remember his smile as I sit at the desk answering call lights that was filled with the request coming from patients. His sincerity with staff and his patients was genuine. Years ago I remember attending one of my nephew's graduation and Dr Water's was the Guest Speaker. His words spoken left heartfelt encouragement with so much hope for the graduates future endeavors

What a wonderful teacher he was. One of the fondest memories I have of Dr. Waters is his skiing to Piedmont during a rare Atlanta snowfall. He was rounding on our unit one day and one of his patients had a GI problem. Dr. Waters ordered a spec be sent to the lab. He advised us the correct spelling was guaiac!

I'm so blessed I got to work with Dr Water's for several years. I could just sit and listen to him tell his stories. Funny I was just praising him to a co-worker just the other day.

Sarah Ann, we've thought of you and your family so much since we heard about Bill's death. Many treasured memories of a friendship going back to KA days at Emory, your wedding, and later times when Bill was our doctor. He was a wonderful Renaissance Man! Sending love and prayers for your comfort in this time of loss ...

Dr. Waters was our family internist from 1972 until his retirement at Piedmont. He had a way of making each patient feel as if they were his most special patient. Dr. W. was a gifted diagnostician and he always had a way of helping the patient look on the optimistic side of a proposed diagnostic test....."you are well until proven otherwise and if a problem arises, we will work it out". He set the gold standard for a physician rather high.

Dearest Family of Dr. William C. "Bill" Waters III,
I would like to give my condolences. What a wonderful legacy to treasure. May his love for helping ones and his love for writing continue to inspire you. As you face the days ahead, look to God for comfort. (2 Cor. 1:3,4)

May the God of comfort continue to provide comfort for the Waters family during this sad occassion.

In "retirement", Dr. Waters was active at the MSCA, where he continued to provide his care and counsel to those in need of his skills. I knew him on the Board there and regret only that our acquaintence was all too brief.
