Not sure what to say?

There can be only one MG William Webb who was Commanding General of 1st Armored Division, in Ansbach, Germany. I was assigned to his S-3 and worked closely with his family and staff. It was an honor serving under him and have nothing but great memories! I often searched for his whereabouts and sorry I found him too late. Rest in peace General. Godspeed. Joe Nocero

Change of Command ceremony at Dian, RVN. I was his S-1. He really cared for his staff even after he left the division.

GENERAL WEBB WAS AND IN MY MEMORY ALWAYS WILL BE THE WONDERFUL, GIFTED OFFICER AND LEADER THAT I SERVED UNDER IN THE 14TH ARMORED CAVALRY REGIMENT. HE MADE ME THE YOUNGEST TROOP COMMANDER IN THE REGIMENT AND I STAYED IN TOUCH OVER THE YEARS BY VISITING HIM IN VIRGINIA. WELL DONE GENERAL MAY YOU REST IN PEACE. BEN

I served as a Colonel for MG Webb commanding the 2nd A.D. (Forward), while under the operational control of MG Webb, CG, 1st Armored Division. General Webb was a great leader and mentor. I am a better leader having served in his command. God Bless!

RIP Bill.
