William Matt Weber, 68, died on Thursday, February 25th at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, IA.

He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 47 years, Vickey, three children and their spouses, Robyn (Ted) Harwood, Jason (Janine) Weber, and Jessica (Dale) Miller, four grandchildren, and sister, Carol (Dennis) Alexander.

Bill lived life to the full and was known for his adventurous spirit. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding and kayaking with family and friends. He especially enjoyed laughing and making others laugh. He always had a joke to tell. Despite his jovial disposition, he was serious when it came to his beliefs. His main focus in life was his strong faith in God's promises for a future of everlasting life without pain and suffering, and his love for people motivated him to actively teach others about his Bible-based beliefs. He will be dearly missed and remembered fondly by who all who knew him.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 5th, 2016 at 1pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 2380 Southeast 37th Street, Grimes, IA 50111.

Not sure what to say?

Dear Vickey and family, I am so saddened by your (our) loss. There are so many happy memories of our road trips. Bill always had somewhere to take us.
He loved teasing me, and I miss him.
I can't wait till the New World to hear his silly jokes and riddles again.
You are in my prayers. May Jehovah give you
comfort and support. It won't be long till we all are together again. love, Gaye

I will miss his sense of humor. He was a good listener when I was a kid. I was so serious and he would listen. I loved him like a second dad
