I was saddened to read the obituary in The Pilot yesterday of Bill's death. As an old CCNC member I remember the many Sunday's that Denise and I used to see the two of you having Sunday Brunch at the club. Bill was one of the really "good" guys around the club - always a true gentlemen on the golf course and with whomever he met.

Bill Weiss was an exceptional leader with great integrity. I am proud to have been part of his Ameritech family and very sorry to hear of his passing.

Your husband was an honorable man. I knew of him by reading his documents from his days at Illinois Bell when I was a young employee working for MCI in Washington DC in the early 1980s on the lawsuit MCI vs. AT&T. I got to know several AT&T and Bell Company employees from a distance. Since MCI initially started it's route from St. Louis to Chicago, we read a lot of documents related to the two business.
