Not sure what to say?

Rosemary, I was just crushed to hear of Bill passing...I knew him for over 30 years. He was my friend. "Sluggo" will be missed...he was a big guy with a big heart. He was the greatest judge of character I have ever met, and was well liked by so many people. May the Lord grant you peace and comfort till you meet up again.

Dear Rosemary, Our hearts and prayers are with you. May your beautiful memories of a loving life shared bring you solace.

My deepest condolences to Rosemary and the family. I have such fond memories of Bill when he came to the office. Aside from his treatment, we had a friendship. May his memory be a blessing.

Rosemary, we never met but Bill was a special friend to my dad, Sam Botta. He took Bill under his wing at the Cuyahoga County Engineers. Bill credits my dad with helping him learn the ropes when he was a young man working for the County. I know my dad cherished his friendship with Bill and treated him like a son. Rosemary and Mike, My heart breaks for all of you. Bill was my dear friend and buddy from back in the County Engineer days - specially when we both got transferred to Green Rd in South Euclid. May God bless all of you. Love & prayers, Peggy

I had the great pleasure of know Bill for 25 years. He was a kind, wonderful and giving spirit who was always ready to serve the Sheriff's Department and the citizens of Cuyahoga County when needed. Rest well Captain Welsh.

Our sincere sympathies to the Welsh Family. We met Bill through Carole & Charley Wilhelm. Bill was a very nice man.

Rosemary, So very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. You both were so kind and supportive. I feel grateful for your friendship going back to our time together at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church. Know that I will be praying for you as you go through this difficult time.
