William Werbiskis

Billy Werbiskis was a friend of mine dating back to the 1940's. He was anexceptional track athelete and he set records for the half mile at Holyoke High School in 1951 and 1952. Bill's birthday was Decemebr 25, 1934 and if a person lived who had a true CVhristmas spirit it was Billy. Gentle, kind, loyal, non-judgemental he was the eldest of a wonderful family of friends and neighbors.
I last saw and spoke to Bill in 1985 at a time of personal bereavemnt and his presence was comforting and...

Our Condolences to your family. Bill was such a pleasant man and we are so happy to have had the opportunity to get to know him while we visited our Mother Stella Larkowski. Bill became part of our daily visits especially sitting out side during the warmer weather feeding the birds and squirrels. Bill was a kind and gentle man...a true "gentleman."
