I NEVER GOT TO KNOW BILL THAT WELL BUT WE DID TALK ALOT AT OUR RUSSELL GET-TOGETHERS AND I ALWAYS ENJOYED OUR CONVERSATIONS VERY MUCH. WE FOUND OUT THAT WE KNEW SOME OF THE SAME PEOPLE FROM YEARS AGO AND THAT WE BOTH WORKED FOR THE AJC. BUT HE HAD A REAL JOB WITH THEM AND I JUST HAD A PAPER ROUTE FOR A YEAR OR SO. LIKE SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE I WILL MISS SEEING BILL. CAROL, OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU, THE CHILDREN AND OTHERS FAMILY MEMBERS.

I remember Bill once taking notice that I was having trouble carrying food to my car in the rain after a luncheon. I said thanks, Bill, for keeping me from falling on the steps. It occurred to me that he took note of the situation and took action. I understand that was so much like him.
