William White Obituary

Our Sweet Daddy, William C. (Bill) White, 92, passed away peacefully while in the constant care and love by his son and best buddy, David. He joined his wife of 60 years and our mama, Lee White, in Heaven on March 2, 2015. He was a native of Oklahoma, a graduate of Oklahoma State University, and a pilot in the Air Corps during WWII. He was a cotton, soy bean, rice and peach farmer in Arkansas and Louisiana. He loved the outdoors and loved making things grow. He has been a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church for many years. Daddy is loved by and will be missed by his children and their families. Son, David White, Baton Rouge; daughter, Carolyn and her husband Bob Cicero, Baton Rouge and daughter, Judge Laurie White and husband Thom Wilson, New Orleans. Paw Paw will be missed by his grandchildren, William and wife Katie White, Evan and husband Quan Tran, and Seth Duhy. He has 4 great grandchildren, Maisie, Liam, and Greer White, and Ari Tran. Rabenhorst Funeral Home, downtown, 825 Government Street, Baton Rouge, will be in charge of the final services. Visitation with open casket will be on Thursday, March 5th from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm. and Friday, March 6th, visitation will be from 9:30 am until the funeral service begins at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge. A special thank you for the their time, devotion and compassion shown to our daddy by The Haven, Landmark Nursing Home, Hospice Care and to his special and faithful friends at Broadmoor Baptist Church, especially Wayne and Marilyn Davis, Joy and Kirk Miller.
