May God bless you and your...
Bill was CCA Commodore during my first Newport Bermuda Race in 1984. He was always a gracious host, an encouraging example of good seamanship and leadership, and mindful or our great American maritime history and legacy. With Shelley at his side, they were real "rock stars" to me of what it means to contribute to the sailing community that we know and love. An exemplary life, well lived. I was privileged to have made his acquaintance.
