William R. Whiteley

We were blessed to be neighbors with one of the kindest gentlemen we have ever met, Bill Whitley. We lived beside Bill for 5 years in Sagamore Beach and he always had a smile, an encouraging word, and words of wisdom when needed. We lost touch once we moved away, but we will never forget those years and his friendship. Bill even came to the rescue when we lost our family pet and brought peace during a difficult time. He would often give "cookies" to our new Golden Retriever, Buddy. You know...

To the Whiteley family...although we have never met, Bill and my daughter, Allyssa Brooke enjoyed many years of friendship and correspondence based on a drama club pumpkin project while Bill was hospitalized in Maine.....her little decorated pumpkin spawned a touching and lasting friendship and we mourn Bills passing with you all.
