Not sure what to say?

Jay and I grew up together from Ninja Turtles to making videos. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his friends and family. I loved him like a brother. He will be forever embedded in my heart.

Jay was the only reason I joined XT fraternity in 2002. He was my 1st roommate and the best person in my life that year. I have no words to say, I have no idea what to do. But I'll I can hear and see is Jay smiling above me. He is somewhere, he is still in my heart and will always be there. I love him like a brother, like all of his friends did and still do. Love you Jay, forever.

your friend,

Joe Gonzales

To my baby brother who i never really got to know i always had you in my heart and i will always love you.

When I think of Jay I think of all the times my brother David and him would be jumping off the sidewalks on their bikes. Jay was one of the most outgoing people I have ever met, my family and I are truly blessed to have had Jay in our lives. Jay was always around to make people laugh no matter how bad things may have seemed. Seems like yesterday Jay was coming over to go to a race with the family. Jay will be missed greatly however never forgotten. Rest in Peace Jay... From the Groner family...

I think of Jay and I see his beautiful smile. When I would visit my daughter at Chico, the three of us usually went out to dinner and he was so charming, engaging and inquisitive. May our hearts heal and remember the privilege of knowing him if even for too brief of a time.

I met Jay my freshmen year at Chico State and was immediately struck by his gorgeous smile, engaging personality, and infectious laugh. He become my best friend and someone I deeply loved. He was a one-of-a-kind spirit who touched so many people and I know there is no one else like him in the world. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

I coached Jay in football at Freedom high school and saw him every day as a student all four years he went to school there. He was a great all round wonderful person to be around. He had a tremendous, fun loving personality. I will miss him.

Jay was my oldest friend. I have known him since I was four years old. We played G.I. Joes together and created the Opportunity Spies. His talents were preceded only by his kindness and loving nature. He will be missed and I wish the best for T., George, Man, and Jaquae. My love is out to you all.

You will be missed.
God Bless.
