I am Bill's third cousin, M Quinn. Steve Quinn is my father. I am sorry to learn of Bill's passing. I tried to contact Bill, several times, over the past few years. I remember fondly our visits to Aunt Laura and Uncle Bert. If Bill was pitching, and on T.V., everything stopped , until he was no longer on the mound. If Bill was in town, he would drop in for a few minutes to say "hi!" Aunt Laura showed us Bill's drawings and newspaper articles, from her cedar chest, each time we...

I was sorry to hear of Bill's passing. In '65 he signed me to a contract with the Houston organization.

Having worked with me on my pitching for several months, his knowledge and guidance helped me immensely. I found him to be a very likable and respected man. What he was and what he did I respected, but what I remember about Bill was his modesty and his good character, which I respected above all. He will be missed in the baseball world.
