Not sure what to say?

I have fond memories of Social Studies class at RCS (class of 1980) with "Mr. Wilbur." For the longest time I knew the location of every country in Africa as well as NY cities and towns due to our playing "The Map Game" in class, probably my favorite class activity. I'll also never forget his passionate telling and reading of stories to us. He really loved history and put in the effort to make it fun and interesting to learn. I discovered so much more about him from reading his bio on...

I just heard of Bill’s passing. I worked at UCP with Bill many years ago. He was a good friend, I'm sorry he passed away. We would occasionally see each other at Walmart and would chat for a few minutes. Bill was always very happy and cheerful, he will be missed.

BILL WILL BE VERY MUCH MISSED. HE WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND A VERY GOOD FRIEND

Deepest condolences to the Wilbur and Huntley families and William's many friends. My wife and I knew his parents when Rev. Wilbur was 'visitation pastor' here in Ilion many years ago. They were wonderful people and we're sure that their son was also. Blessings to all !

Bill Wilbur was the best social studies teacher ever. I graduated from RCS in 1979. In the following years I was fond of seeing him whenever I’d take my grandfather, Edward Credle to the rotary meetings. My grandpa, Bill and also George Landecker were all great friends and always sat together at the meetings. It was a pleasure to be in their company. He is fondly remembered here with me and I know how much his family will miss him.
