Not sure what to say?

I'm sitting here reminiscing with an old friend about working with Bill for so many years. Truly a wonderful soul. He always brought joy to his coworkers and friends. His wealth of knowledge was always shared. No one equaled his personality and love for teaching. He was always delighted to talk about his family and ask about mine. Always missed.

I really enjoyed working with Bill on our Disaster Committee at the University of Michigan Health System. He was completely unassuming, and a lot of fun to talk to. I honor his distinguished service in Vietnam.

Still missing Bill and being grateful for memories of laughter, shared sorrow and a continuation of the fight for peace and justice!

Remembering Bill and wondering what wisdom he would share with us in the midst of this pandemic.

The joy of having known Bill still brings a smile to my face. He was a fierce soldier for justice and I write this in honor of who are benefitting - even now - from his legacy.

So many years, so many memories. Bill was an outstanding father, supportive husband, and incredible physician. Our children introduced us, and we shared their joys and sorrows with Bill and Catherine. May he Rest In Peace and Justice!

I am so glad to have met you Bill and you will be sorely missed! You leave behind a wonderful legacy.

Im really going to miss you, uncle Bill. I love you so much.

Bill, we will miss you! I first met him when he worked some shifts over in AMOU when the unit first opened in 2009-off the ED. He was a wonderful person, a great Physician and he had a great sense of humor. He was so personable and his illness was tragic and absence is felt throughout the University. He was loved, and is missed.
