One of my fondest memories of Uncle Ted was listening to his story of how my Grandpa (his brother Howard) accidently chopped off one of his fingers and they thought one of the chickens ate it. They were young at the time. Uncle Ted always laughed when he told it but my grandpa really hated that it happened. He was a wonderful person and I will miss him.
