I've known his son Travis Wimberly Jr. and the family since grade school. Every time I saw him he would always ask me if I was still playing the drums and wanted me to come and play a song or two with him and his band. I know he's playing that Jazz music for the heavenly crowd now. God Bless!

I have very fond memories of Travis from when I worked at Ole Town Grill. He loved his country ham and loved to cut up with all of us. He always had a smile and a joke to tell. I will miss him deeply I know though that he is with our Savior in Heaven looking down on us all just a grinnin'. My thoughts and prayers are with Dorthy and the rest of his family.
