William Kennie Wiseman
William Kennie Wiseman, 52, of Crimora, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 7, 2011, after a long illness.
He was born on October 13, 1958, in Staunton, a son of Kennie and Evelyn Davis Wiseman.
William attended Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren. A graduate of Wilson Memorial High School and Valley Vo-Tech, he was an electrician at ASR. He loved hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Teresa Iseli and Deborah Aldhizer and her husband, John, all of Crimora; one brother, Mitchell Wiseman and his wife, Dianne, of Stuarts Draft; one niece, Michelle Wells and her husband, Steven; one nephew, John Aldhizer III; one great-niece, Emily Wells; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2011, at McDow Funeral Home by the Reverend Matthew Fike. Interment will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Harold Argenbright, Vick Coburn, Matt Dowdy, Conrad Ettinger, Richard Thomas, and Dave Zeiner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lisa Arner, George Brinkley, Darlene Craig, Bucky Darrah, John Green, Janet Mayo, Butch and Patty Nulty, Rick Simmons, Lori and Steve Tuennermann, and his other friends from ASR.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2011, at the funeral home, and other times at the home.
