Ruth (and family) I am sorry to hear about your husband/father. I am sure that you don´t remember me. I was a X-ray technician at St. Francis Hospital and RWJ for 30+years. Dear Ruth and family Meryl and I were so very sad to hear of Bill's passing. He was an esteemed colleague of mine since 1963 and I will always cherish the times that we shared at Helene Fuld Medical Center as well as those at the medical society. He was a caring and giving physician. We will miss him. Sincerely, Philip Kauff

My heart is broken and the world has lost one of the most talented and compassionate of all humans I have ever known. Doctor Wittenborn was a dear friend and exceptional surgeon. His passing leaves us with warm, strong memories which endure. My condolences to Ruth and Elwyn and the entire Wittenborn family. God's Speed, Bill...Your friend, Steve Zielinski
