Not sure what to say?

Dear Pam - At our most recent Planning meeting for the 50th reunion in September, Judy (Townsend) Hale let us all know about Bill's passing. Karen Bramen was also iat the meeting, telling us of your connections over the years. We all were very sorry to hear of your loss. Prayerfully thinking about you today and asking God for you and your family's comfort and healing.

Pam and girls,
Saddened by the news of Bill's passing. We met first as candidates back in AOCS 29-75. Our next adventure was one very eventful Christmas leave drive from P'cola to Michigan. Karen still remembers that rainy weekend Bill built a deck at our first house - and you both drank strawberry daiquiris making fun of Bill and I out in the rain. He was a good man. Our sincere condolences.

Pam and Family
So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We were neighborhood and church friends. I remember walking home from Steele Jr. High with Bill. Like they say, Those were the days. Good memories.

So sorry to hear about CAPT Wolters' passing. He was great to work for at COMOPTEVFOR. I'll never forget him at the Christmas talent show with Steve Whitehead, at a COMOPTEVFOR Christmas party making everyone laugh, and talking with him in his office about professional training.
Best,
Brian Hall

So sorry to hear of his passing. He was, in every respect, a great Naval Officer but he was an even better person. Our family's thoughts and prayers go out to all in this difficult time.

Bill Combs and family

Dear Pam and the girls,
"Billy Wo" will be missed. When I was the Maintenance Officer in VAW-121, he was the Avionics Officer in 1980 IO cruise. He was a fine officer, one of the best I've known, without a doubt.
Please accept our sincere condolences.
Sincerely,
Dan and Maureen Whalen, Leesburg, Virginia

Our family are so sorry for your loss. The Davis family attended Forest Home Reformed Church. This is how I knew Bill and his family. Personally, I enjoyed going to their house where we would spend time playing and just goofing around. Many fond memories of Bill. God Bless
Jim Davis (son of Leon and Joyce)

VAW-121 Ready Room IO Deployment 1980

Pam:

Our deepest sympathies on Bill's passing. Eagle (or Billy Wo) as he will always be know to me was one of those very few, exceptionally rare people that decades later, you can look back and say what a difference he made in your life and those around him. Could go on for volumes about what I learned from him in the plane and in my ground job, but the picture I will forever have, whither it was in the plane, the Ready Room or out in town is the twinkle in his eye and the almost...

May God bless you all.
