Not sure what to say?

I thank God for the life of Bill Wright. His love and compassion that touched and enriched the lives of so many people. May his life be a blessing. Rodney Page

He was a great landlord, employer, and friend!

My grandparents were Sylvia and Richard Wright in Portland, Oregon. I have a photo album that has a picture of Willie Wright from Portland in 1889. I don´t know if this is a Direct relative or not but I thought I would share it just in case.

Greatest landlord ever! We rented a house on Corbett Street from him and he turned out to be a good friend and hired Edward for much repair work. He also referred us to the house we bought on SW Gibbs. We have nothing but great memories!

We were directed to call Bill when considering buying a commercial property. My partner and I were ignorant of anything “commercial property”, including leases and working with tenants. He offered to look at the property with us, advised us and would not accept payment for his time. Over many years he advised us on all matters concerning property maintainance and management, including a sense of his personal approach, lessons in humility, generosity and practicality. I sent gift certificates...

Bill was an amazing guy. He managed several businesses and was popular with all his clients and competitors. His humor and good nature was a force in his success! Bill was definitely a "one of a kind" big personality and will be greatly missed...

It is with great sadness that I share in the grief in the passing of Bill Wright. Bill was a great friend of Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon. When no one would rent their building to us for a HIV-Day Center. Bill stepped up and became a lifelong supporter of EMO. We thank God for one of his saints and grove but not as those who have no hope. Rodney Page
