William X. Forgét, 76, Palm Coast, Florida, formerly of Albany, New York, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2018. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend.


William was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, on December 22, 1941, a son of the late Arthur and Mary Terlizzi Forgét.


He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, In-Sook Forgét;  four sons, Joe Forgét of Orlando, FL,  Derrick Forgét of Albany, NY, Brian (Cassandra) Brady of Valatie, NY and John (Karie) Brady of Albany, NY;  one daughter, Tina Marie Forgét of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Arthur Forgét of Latham, NY, and Leo Forgét of Palm Coast, FL; one sister, Lorraine Berryman of Worcester, MA; four grandchildren, Amanda Solomon, Sascha Forgét, Talia Forgét, and Ethan Brady.


William was a member of the St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church, Republican Party of Florida, and VFW Post #8696. He retired from the United States Air Force and worked many years as an outdoor lineman and electrician.


William enjoyed laughing, spending time with family and friends, fixing anything and everything, playing cards, and helping others. He was a hard-working, kind and big-hearted person who had many friends and was well liked throughout his community. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.


A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church.  Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force.  The graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
