So sorry to learn of Bill´s passing. I served with Bill in the choir at our church in Indiana. I loved Bill´s green shoes and the sweets he always brought to choir practice. Bill made a large contribution to our playground fund, and I often shared pictures with him of my son playing there, enjoying what he helped build. He had a beautiful spirit and I´m so fortunate to have known him.

Bill used to call on me when I was at Leo Burnett USA and he was the head ad sales guy at Time in Chicago. Being a U of I grad myself, we shared the many ups and downs of Illini sports including a trip to the 1982 Liberty Bowl (Illinois vs Alabama) along with a memorable pre-game visit to Graceland. RIP ad guy.
