So very sorry to lose an amazing man who led a charmed life.

Bill Young was a friend of everyone within minutes of meeting him. One day probably 3 decades ago in my early 20's, I cut out an article on Bill fascinated with his travels and love of flyfishing and learned that he might give a rookie fly fisherman a lesson. Youngie represented everything good about the PENN experience. He shared his experiences and took in so many of us as a "friend for life". He surely had Red and Blue in his veins.

Youngie will always have a special place in my Penn coaching life. One of the great guys i had the privilege to know and work with. What a remarkable human being!
