Dear Zavala Family, I was very sad when I read in FB that Willie had passed away on Dec. 23rd. I met Willie when I was at Gonzales High School between 1966-1968 then he graduated. He always was very nice and polite to everyone. I had several classes with him and got to know him better. I still remember his smile and how he smiled at all of us girls while we walked in front of the old Art building in front of the school cafeteria. He and his friends would stand up in front of the building...

I remember hearing him say my name and I look and it was Willie and I was happy to see him, we were in Watsonville at Super Maxx, we talked for a while and I gave him ice cream.

Till we meet again..ur sister rosenary
