Willianm Urbanski

Please know that Brooke and all of her family are in the thoughts, hearts, and prayers of her friends and colleagues at Mississippi State University and, especially, those in the School Psychology Programs. Brooke, as the granddaughter of William Urbanski, is evidence of the what a strong role model he must have been. Although we cannot be with his family tonight and tomorrow in Auburn, we are there in spirit.

I close my eyes and go back to the time when I was a child in Auburn and can see my Uncle Billy standing straight and tall with that wonderful smile spread all across his face. Even when he would stoop down to my level to correct me for something, he would always say something to make me giggle afterwards. My Cousin Peggy says he was her best friend. That says a lot about any man. He is gone but his example of Love is left behind in the hearts of his children and grandchildren , my Mom,...

To Bill's Family,
I worked with Bill at the Auburn School District and considered him a friend. I hope you all find peace and comfort in the days ahead. He was a good man.
