Not sure what to say?

It was my great pleasure to work with Willie Brown at Severance Hall from 1972 through 1980.At his position at the main door to the Hall, Willie always met people with great dignity and represented The Cleveland Orchestra at the highest level. As I did public relations fior the Orchestra, I always told Willie that he did as much PR as I did. His warmth, dedication, and good humor were a joy. We traded Christmas cards for over 30 years. I miss Willie but thank God that He brought Willie...

what kind of mark will you leave in this world, when it come your turn to depart? to light the path for a friend in need, and Jesus will say, when it,s your time to go well done faithful servant. GOD BLESS YOU .

Dear Dollie,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will always remember Willie as a kind and friendly person and will miss seeing him at Severance Hall

I am so sorry you lost your dear Willie Brown. He was always so courteous and kind in his position at Severance Hall. I was taken aback to see his obituary last night at the hall, and I will miss him. What a gentleman, he was.

Uncle Bubba will be missed

Whether telling a story or making joke, he could always make your laugh

Dear Dollie,

We just found out today that Willie passed away last week. I can't tell you how much I will miss seeing him at Severance Hall. He was one in a million, a wonderful friend to me for almost 40 years and will be remembered by so many people including family, friends, staff at the Hall, orchestra members and scads of famous artists whose lives he touched.
Please know that we are thinking of you. Love from Nancy & Steve Gage
