Alpha Willie Byrd! You I Will Always Remember! From our Second BC Deacon Days in Las Vegas to Brother in our Alpha Phi Alpha Days, to our sharing of my Book Signing in Dallas. As in my book title, "Making Tracks for Jesus," elevated you to Ordination to await that Great Coronation! You and Your Family will forever have a special place in my hear. Byrds do fly Away!

Gone but not forgotten! RIP Brother!

Another year has passed, and life is still not the same since you departed this place to go to that heavenly place. We still here on earth will have to leave this place one day. I pray that we will see each other in the place God has prepared for those who have kept the faith and trusted in his Holy words.

Life is not the same without you here with us. We miss you so much Big Brother.

You always helped me understand that the truth can be different depending on one’s perspective. You taught me a lot but I remember some humorous times too. Such as the time we were onsite and you dumped your coffee over the original plan documents. And the time we stopped for lunch and the waiter put a napkin on our laps....a glass of water was $5.00 and we stepped all over each other getting out of that place. I enjoyed our discussions about our faith in God and also our discussions...

Wow! Can't believe its been 5 years my fellow SBI classmate❤ until we meet again Reverend Byrd.....until we meet again

Gone but never forgotten I miss you daily and it is my hope to see you again one day in that heavenly place on high..Always loving you Brother.

R.I.P. Willie Byrd, my prayers are with your family. I was in shocked when I saw a post from your daughter that you had passed away. I am in disbelief. You will always be the best bid whiz partner I've ever had! I know you are in a better place and with the Lord.
