My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends. I had the distinct pleasure of working around Slim for nearly two decades. He was a nice man who often provided me with great insight and sound advice. May he rest in peace.

Please accept my prayers of condolence for the family. Each time I'd come to Greater St. Andrews AME, I'd see Willie. Just Friday night, he greeted me warmly, as usual and checked on the cars on the lot. He will truly be missed. May you cherish fond memories of Willie.

He was a great man. He will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to the family.
