Willie Edward Dixon, Sr. was born November 4th 1952 in Birmingham Alabama to the late Mr. Willie and Mrs. Susie Dixon.
He was also preceded in death by his loving wife , of over 40 years, Mrs. Dorothy Hinton Dixon and one brother, Mr. Charles Anthony Dixon.
Willie joined the United States Army at a young age and later worked as a Crane Operator for over 20 years at R.R Dawson Bridge until his retirement. He had a love for fast cars and motorcycles and was affectionately known as “Big Cam” “BigWill” and “Big PaPa” by many of his family and close friends. He will be greatly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Mr. Willie (Angela) Dixon, Mr. Terry (Shevelyn) Hinton Two daughters, Dorothy Shree Dixon and Tamera Dixon; 11 Grandchildren; five sisters, Patricia Ann Dixon Thomas, Cynthia Y. Dixon Johnson, Shirley Dixon Coleman, Darlene Dixon Thomas, Suzzette Foster Craig, and 1 Brother, Roderick Foster, all of Birmingham Alabama.
