Not sure what to say?

WILLIE MELVIN FINCH WAS MY GRANDFATHER. HE WASN'T ONLY THAT BUT HE WAS A HERO A LEADER AND A PERSON WHO WOULD BE THERE EVEN WHEN YOU DIDN'T HAVE YOUR BEST DAYS. IT'S SAD BECAUSE AFTER I WAS BORN HE HAD A MASSIVE STROKE SO I COULDN'T DO AS MANY THINGS AS MY BROTHER GOT TO DO BEFORE HE GOT SICK. LIKE DRESSING UP LIKE HIM WHEN HE WAS IN THE SHIPYARD, HANGING OUT WITH HIM AND HIS BUDDIES,AND GOING OUT TO EAT AND TO CRUMB'S BAKERY EVERY THURSDAY. EVEN THOUGH I COULDN'T DO ALL THOSE THINGS BUT I...

To the Finch Family

Doug and I were sad to hear about our dear friend Willie. We pray that in this difficult time, God will render peace unto you all. He was such a good friend in the time that we have known him. We love you all very much. We are sorry we did not make the funeral, we just found out about it on Sunday. Just rest in the Lord. I lost my dear brother last year, so I know how you feel. It is a great loss. But its Heavens gain. We know Willie is with Jesus. God bless you...

What a Warm man Mr. Finch was. I never met him but in memories of stories I did, and thru his daughter Sharon I see. My Love and Prayers to your Family.

TO THE FAMILY OF DEACON WILLIE "MELVIN" FINCH:

Elder Mary Jackson and the members of Jerusalem United Holy Church were saddened to hear of the homegoing of your love one, Elder Willie M. Finch. Through the years Elder Finch and his family visited with us on the first Sunday in August during their family reunion.

The Finch, Ziglar and Courts...

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

May the Peace of the Lord abide with the Finch Family during these difficult times. Melvin will sadly be missed. His smile and his sense of humor will particular be missed. God be with you all.

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the Finch family. I was one of his home health nurses and there was no question that the Finch home was full of love. The care rendered to Mr Finch indicated that he was very loved by his family and that his welfare was of the utmost importance to them. May God bless all of you. I love you and look forward to seeing you soon. I pray that you will experience peace and comfort during your time of bereavement.

To the Finch Family, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
