Granny (Bill) was an inspiration to me over the years. She was a wonderful example of a faithful servant of Jesus, a great Mother-in-law and a friend. I will always remember her smile, her singing, playing the piano, reciting all her teacher's names, saying verses she learned as a child, riding a horse, playing basketball, playing dominos,and beating me most of the time. Granny will always live in my memory and be a part of who I am. She was reliably positive, full of mirth and "up for anything". She was constant in her faith; singing hymns and quoting encouraging scriptures at the drop of a hat. She was funny and dauntingly competitive. She taught me to look forward => rather than dwell on the past. She showed me that happiness is a choice regardless of your circumstances, and that God is faithful.
