Roosevelt Milton,
I met Willie MiddleBrook on freedom rode. He came and volunteered to work with NABSW, we established the Tolliver Center. He lived for a while with my wife and I. Together we established the talk of the town radio show on KTOK. Willie was a warrior, he was my brother in the struggle for justice. I have kept in contact with him, and made it a point to visit him on each occasion that we traveled through Indianaapolis, Indiana. Pat and I will miss him tremendously, We...

It was sad to learn of the passing of Mr. Middlebrook; he was a great inspiration and mentor to so many of us. He will be missed. Our prayers are with you during this time. May God continue to bless and keep you all.
