Not sure what to say?

Willie Odom was an asset to Tennis and I know he's greatly missed.

I met Willie in the mid to late 80s. He was one of my earliest tennis coaches. More than a coach, he was a mentor and as I got older, he became a friend. I remember he was tough (but always smiling) and always encouraging - sprinkling life lessons as part of his tennis lessons. I can't recall how many hours we spent at Newman playing all weekend with a group of 10-12 other students. I will always cherish not only those memories but many others. He was a gentle soul who only wished the best...

Willie was such an amazing coach, mentor and friend to me. I loved him dearly and looked up to him as a role model. I am heartbroken to know about his death but know he is in a wonderful place because he was such a good soul. He will always be remembered and missed dearly. I am so thankful to have had Willie as a coach in my life - I will cherish his coaching, advice and memories always...

Willie was an incredible person. He taught me self-confidence and inner strength, through the many years he gave us tennis lessons. I never thought of him as a coach, rather he was just like a family member and constant mentor in our lives. He will always be remembered as an inspiration in my heart. I will miss him dearly and deeply regret not being able to see him recently.
Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

Willie helped me so much in my tennis and we won many matches but more than that he was my friend He was a good listener and calming personality that encouraged me and supported me through many changes. I cannot express how special a man he was no ego only love for me and my family My prayers go out to his family.
