Not sure what to say?

It is your birthday !!! I had written a message before wow only to thank God for giving u to me for 60 years. Memories will be with me forever and I will miss u always. I know u r celebrating this birthday with grandma. Grandpa. Deloris. Bill. Vina and Willie.

Skip I address this to you because I know you are watching over us all right now, with that funny half smile grin and snicker. I hope you have found the perfect heavenly keyboard with Carol singing and laughing at your side. I know you have found happiness and peace. Your larger than life presence will be missed, but your powerful spirit will always
be felt. I am sad and sorry about how you left us, but I know you felt my mom and dads presence and love with you during your final days. I...

Mr. Perry was my teacher for 7th and 8th grade, and even though we did nothing but butt heads for those 2 years. If it wasn't for him i would never still be appreciating and playing music the way i do today. So i thank him and will cherish my memories of him.

Dear Mrs. Perry, Skip was a good friend of mine. We grew together in the same neighborhood, worshiped together, went to the same schools and were Boy Scouts. From all accounts Skip was a good husband, father and teacher. I am proud to say I knew Skip. I know he has affected many people in a positive way. Mr. & Mrs Jeff Wilkes

Skip was a great guy and a talented musician among many talents. I used to see him frequently at the Road House with Lou, Gilly and Richie. I loved his home made bass pedals, he must have also had talent in woodworking and electronics as well. It's very sad and shocking for all us musicians to see him go under the completely unexpected circumstances of an accident. May God bless, his family, his loved ones, and his many students who will continue to play or enjoy music for the rest of their...

Skip was not only a dedicated teacher he was a strong influence in my daughter Jamie's life. His gift of music was shared with all who would care to listen. He made sure the audience of young and old would give full attention anytime any student performed.More than once he would stop a performance to be sure his students received the respect for their time and practice. No child would be left behind if they gave their all. The school system has lost a great educator. My daughter Jamie has now...

8th grade jazz band performance back in 2007

Dear Mrs.Perry and family,

Mr. Perry was an outstanding band director, there is so much to say about the wonderful impact he has made not only on my life but all our lives. I have to admit before i joined his band class in 6th grade i was affraid to get up on stage or play infront of anyone even if it was only family. He was the one who taught us it's ok to mess up, to just keep going and not to worry because, you can make it become superior. I will always cherrish the...

Dear Deanna, Mary, and Perry Family,

On behalf of my office; Callan Reinke, Erin Sweeney, and Dr. Jan Kaplan, offer our deepest condolences for you at this difficult time. I have known Skip for 20 years as his dentist. I'm fortunate to have met him and get to know him as a good patient, a good person and a good friend. Skip loved to talk about his passion for music, aviation, and airplanes. I will really miss him.

As your daughter, I continue to carry on your legacy of music (love and appreciation), truly tasteless jokes, the love of cooking, a reeces peanut butter cup along with a coca cola in a bottle and a fierce stubborn streak.
It was truly a gift to be with you and hold your big ol' hand during your last days on earth, I felt my father and your love.
My love and compassion will always be with your wonderful wife Mary. I remember telling you, 'don't you let her go', and I know even...
