Willie Shipman Jr.

Mr. Shipman was one my Drivers Education teachers at Mattie T. Blount High School. He was tough but he was a lot of fun. I later worked with him through the Community Activities Program at LeFlore High School.

My sincerest condolences to the family. I know he will be missed. Mr. Shipman taught me Driver's Education. He taught many lessons on safe driving, but the one thing I remember most is not to be afraid of the 18-wheelers on the interstate. Renetta, Leflore HS Class of 85.

Dear Ashley and Bentz ...worked with your Mom decorating their beautiful home.. we drove Mr Willie crazy but it was all in fun.Such a true hero , your Dad is a great man. He was tough when needed but with a heart of gold. Love and hugs to family and friends.ps your Mom shared her New Orleans perfume with me and I use it to this day...Always brings a smile

More than thirty years ago as summer camp Director for the Boy Scouts of America in Mauvilla Brother Willie provided a Summer of fun and games that will always be remembered by both Adults and Scouts as the best ever.Food,Games and events I shall always remember..Thanks to His Family for sharing Him with us.REST NOW BROTHER SHIPMAN

Brother Shipman's journey in life has culminated with many accomplishments personally and professionally. He has reached the Golden Shores. May God's perpetual light shine upon him.
