Ezell was the best quarterback of all-time to come out of San Diego. He could have played professional football had he not gone to UCLA. They had not Idea how to utilize his talents. I was 8 years old when I first saw Ezell at San Diego High. Even though I was a white kid living in Golden Hills, I always imagined myself being Ezell Singleton when I played quarterback at Brooklyn Elementary and Roosevelt Jr. High. Throw 'em long Ezell.

Ezell was a man of God,and very confident. He always told me he hoped he would see me in heaven,I know he'll be there. I love him and miss him
