Willie M. Smith Jr.

Thank You to everybody that remember Smitty. He was sweet man, my best friend,my husband my everything and me and the kids going to miss him.In this moment of so much pain how you said goodbye to somebody like him. He leave make in everybody he touch. This is not goodbye but I see you later.

During Smitty's tenure as a police officer at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard I was his Watch Commander for the entire time and I am saddened to hear of his home going. I would like to extend my condolences to the family and stay strong.

I am very sorry to hear about the death of Willie. I know he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. I knew him from Norfolk Catholic High School.

I only knew Willie from high school but was always impressed with what a fine individual he was in so many ways. I know that his passing will be felt deeply by his loved ones.

You can be very proud of your dad, brother, uncle, and friend, who served his country, his community,his church and his family with devotion. Willie was a valuable member of our class at Norfolk Catholic HS ....always fun to be around and a fine athlete. We are fortunate to have had him as a classmate.
