Willie James Smith, 77, departed this life on Monday, July 5, 2021. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Thomas G. Smith Funeral Home, 14601 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, 44110. Services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021; Wake at 1:00 pm and Funeral Service at 1:30 pm at the Greater Gospel Temple AOH Church, 2408 E. 83rd Street, Cleveland, Ohio, 44104. Interment will be immediately following the service at the Cleveland Memorial Gardens, 4324 Green Road, Highland Hills, OH 44128. Arrangements entrusted to Thomas G. I said you sound so good, of course he said "I feel pretty good. I am going to truly MISS our talks and laughter on the phone. Please know my prayers are with you all right now and . Sadly, I will always remember you as the father who missed his son dearly and went on home to be reunited. I had never seen a man cry so hard the way you did at Lester's Home-going; it broke my heart to see how broken hearted you were. You are now with your baby boy again in paradise and I can envision Aunt Bert looking on and smiling. Rest in Heaven, Uncle Willie James Smith.
