Rev. Willie Alsberry Solesbee

In 1971 Brother “Bill” Solesbee accepted a call from Edgemont Park Baptist Church and became our Pastor. We immediately bonded together and formed a lasting friendship that included my wife Peggy, our daughter Sherri and sons Jack and Jody.

For over 35 years he was a friend, mentor and spiritual advisor to every one in my family.

I believe this statement applies to all the members of our church who knew him along with countless others in our community.
