Willie Thomas Jr.

Willie was a wonderful, happy, joy filled coworker and friend to my deceased husband, Mike Swain, at Spain Rehab Center. They had an annual bet on the Iron Bowl each year and I bet they are enjoying being reunited in heaven now! Amazing to think about that, but I hope it adds some joy to the sadness we have without Willie. May God's peace be with all his loved ones.

R I P, my friend I'll always remember our last conversation!!!

It is my prayer that Willie's family can take comfort in knowing how loved and respected he was. He never had anything but good to say about everyone. You could always count on him to be there when you needed him. He was even willing to help when it was after hours or he had another project going. The women in the St Francis Flower Guild and Women's Fellowship feel as though we have lost a trusted friend. May God welcome him into His heavenly home. Marianne Sharbel

Willie, your unfailing cheerfulness and kindness have left a special place in my heart. You were the kind of person who "never met a stranger" because you were so friendly and open to everyone. I miss you greatly! My prayers are with your family. I hope they will be comforted by realizing how many people your life touched and left behind a blessing.

My family and I at St. Francis Xavier were blessed with Willie's friendship. We will miss his cheerful visits, wonderful smile, fun stories, and wise counsel.

I first met Willie when I came to work at Spain Rehab Center many years ago as a newly graduated Physical Therapist. I learned a lot from Willie and am so glad to call him a friend. He liked to tease and had a great laugh. I also feel blessed that I was able to talk with him a couple of months ago. I know that Willie is in heaven today. My condolences go out to Willie's family.

Rest in Peace my friend. Willie was a great friend and co-worker. I will miss him. We hit it off the first time I meet him talking about Alabama Football. I am sure Willie will be looking out for the Tide this year.
