What can I say about my dear First cousin - He loved people, and his family. I will miss the fun we had growing up together. He love my sister Hattie dearly, and now he is resting in heaven with her, Aunt Lottie, and Uncle Henry. His basketball legacy and the personal love he had for God's people, and the lives he touched will live on. I'll miss Ba Willie, and his constant reminder that we - family -need to get together. I encourage the family to stay strong as he would have wanted. God...

Willie Watson lived a full and rich life. We are all strengthened by having known Willie Watson. We were saddened to learn of his passing. He loved people and in his own way he helped to make this nation and this state better places. When I moved to Clayton in 1977, I met Willie and saw how he loved people and worked to make Clayton and Wilson better places. He was a role model and his life shows young people that If you dream it, you can acheive it through prayer and hard work. I get...

Cousin "Ba Willie" was a good person and everyone I know love him. Plus, he was an excellence role model. Back in the 80’s he was the president of the Clayton All Stars organization which hosted several dances for teenagers and make donation to the community. I saw the good work that Cousin Willie was doing that I got involved by getting elected Vice President and I enjoyed working under Cousin Willie leadership. I did get to tell him that I loved him before he went on to glory.
