Not sure what to say?

I miss Willie. He was my favorite singer and the Harptones were my favorite group of all time. I was fortunate to have met Willie through my friend the late great Ronnie I of UGHA. I play his music on my Doo Wop Show on WRDV-FM in Hatboro PA. His music will live on forever. Rest in peace Willie

Was lucky enough to see them at Westbury Music Fair several years ago. Cry Like I Cried and The Shrine of St. Cecilia were very special songs to me. When Willie was still able to hit that note at the end of the song, we all went nuts!! I´m just a fan but wanted to say thank you for sharing your gift with us, we will be forever grateful. You will be forever missed.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

I just heard a Harptone song sung by Willie winfield on a Gucci television commercial and it brought back an old memory where my late husband ; Jack "smitty" Smith introduced me to the great music of the Harptones...I would always think of Willie and the Harptones from time to time and remember how their music soothed my soul when I needed it the most...R.I.P Willie...your music will last a lifetime...Thank You ...Jane Smith...p.o. I have met Willie Winfield at Pete's Dream in walpole massachusetts Beck in 1995 along with the other members and Willie and the rest were amazing. Very kind. I was with the radio station WATD at the time and went with the dj I was helping back then so got to go backstage. One of the many wonderful memories I'll treasure forever. ❤ also I got to talk to Willie on the phone briefly when he called the station my thoughts and prayers are always with his loved ones and friends

Mr. Winfield was a wonderful man with a beautiful voice, and a true gentleman. Everyone loved him.
I met him and the Harptones as a young teen, and never stop playing their songs. His voice will live on in our hearts. My deepest condolences to the Winfield family. ❤

What a beautiful voice. Together with the harptones we’re amazing.

Willie Winfield and The Harptones were one of the most influential and beloved Doo-Wop and vocal groups of all time. They inspired me in many ways. When I was in 4th grade, I had a small Doo-Wop group. At the time, the guys and I sang songs by Dion and The Belmonts, Little Anthony and The Imperials, and The Duprees. We were nothing professional, rather instead we did it for fun.

The Harptones had several songs I can relate to in my life, but one that stood out to me the most was...

He was great enjoyed his voice so much
