Mr. Willie James Wright Sr., of Eldorado Lane, in South Bend, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on October 5, 2010.
 
Willie was born on November 24, 1924 to the union of George L. Sr., and Annie Bell Wright (Henderson) in Ruleville, Mississippi.
 
Willie was joined in holy matrimony to Eula Lee Garmon on March 4, 1950. To this union eight children were born. Willie served in the United States Army where he did two tours of duty, and fought in World War II. He also served in the South Bend Civil Defense Police Force. Willie retired from Dodge Manufacturing in 1983 after 27 years. Willie worked as a social worker for ACTION at the various centers in town.
 
Willie leaves to cherish his memory eight children: five daughters, Norma Jean Arnold, Terry Lynn Smith, Anna Marie Teague, Amelia Francine Wright, all of South Bend, Indiana, and Theresa Anne Wright of Atlanta, Georgia; three sons, Alfred Lee Parker, Willie James Jr., and Michael Leon, all of South Bend; 27 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; a special friend Vera Lane; and a host of relatives and friends.
 
Willie was preceded in death by his mother Annie Bell Wright Henderson; father and step-mother George L. Sr. and Alberta Wright; his wife Eula Wright; a sister Leola Richardson; a brother George Wright Jr.; a grandson Vernon Buggs Jr; two great-grandsons William J. Clark and Christopher Bonds; and a son-in-law James Teague.Services for Mr. Willie James Wright Sr. will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home Inc., 2702 Lincoln Way West, South Bend, Indiana. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with services following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will

Some of my fondest memories where sharing family time with all of you, your parents Mr & Mrs Wright always made me feel welcome.
